Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th July 2026 Written Update: Bhanu to be Armaan’s Witness

Precap: Armaan competed for the best father of the year award with Bhanu Trivedi and other contestants

The Friday episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started off with Armaan who competed for the best father of the year award with Bhanu Trivedi and other contestants.

While they were making house cards Armaan saw that Bhanu Trivedi had dropped one card of his as Armaan picked it up and was about to give back to him as Bhanu pointed at the host and said he is cheating and taking my card away.

Armaan was about to clarify his stance as the host immediately made him disqualify without hearing his defence.

Armaan came back to his family and apologized to both Mukti and Maira as Abhira said she doesn’t want to apologize as you are your daughters best father always.

Abhira Enters the Best Mother Competition Amidst Bullying Drama

Armaan asked Abhira to go for the best mother competition. Maira and Mukti saw few girls were teasing a little girl as Maira came to save her from bullying her.

Maira asked the girls to deal with her as Tanya came and asked Maira is anything wrong? As Maira said no and she went with Tanya.

Maira asked the little girl is her mother also competing as the latter nod her head. Maira told her that after the competition she will drop her to her parents.

The host explained the theme of the game ghat the mother’s need to unload their responsibilities i.e. the things they are carrying and keep them at their respective places.

Mukti Protects Maira and Abhira Wins the Trophy
Armaan helped Abhira to load the things on to her hands and head. Abhira and Bhanu Trivedi’s wife started walking in as those bullying girls approached Maira slowly amidst the audience watching them.

As they came closer Mukti saw them approaching Maira with scissors to cut her hair. To save Maira Mukti came in between and made her hair cut.

Finally, Abhira won the competition of the best mother as Mukti screamed out loud. She went upstairs to hide herself as Maira followed her.

Mukti’s Deep Insecurities Confessed to the Poddar Family

The entire Poddar family came up to Mukti as Maira asked her to calm down. She draped a scarf on her head and said she is not looking nice as both Armaan and Abhira said that she is looking cutest.

She was about to run away as her scarf flew away and her hair got exposed. She came and immediately hide under Abhira’s saree. Maira asked Mukti to calm down as it’s not a big deal.

Mukti handed her a scissor and asked her to cut her hair if it’s not a big thing. Armaan and Abhira asked them to stop. Maira said she will cut her stupid hair if that will make Mukti calm down.

Mukti immediately stopped her and said that it’s not about the hair. She pointed at Armaan and Abhira and said I have grown my hair long so that I look like I am your real daughter.

Abhira asked her how does it matter how do you look. Mukti got the family photo and made them see it. She said everyone is looking like each other only I am looking like an outsider.

She said earlier also this family resuded to accept myself. Mukti continued and said I have grown my Poddar family’s daughter.

Bhanu Trivedi Rectifies His Mistake and Joins the Celebration

Bhanu Trivedi’s daughter came and expressed her gratitude to Mukti and Maira. Bhanu himself came and asked both the girls to accept the trophy as you both saved my daughter from those bully girls. He apologized to Mukti for loosing her hair.

Armaan and Abhira said they will talk with their parents and asked them to teach them not to bully anyone.

Bhanu asked them to accept the best family award as it’s them who deserves it. Armaan asked him to leave as Bhanu said I am ready to give my statement as a witness and you are asking me to leave as they all got happy.

Kaveri came and started dancing with Mukti as everyone gathered around them. The entire Poddar family started showering their love onto Mukti.
