Anupama 17th July 2026 Written Update: Pantry Sabotage and Vegan Twist in the “Sapnon ka Swaad” Kitchen

Precap: The lady judge told Anupama that it will be difficult for you to make the dish

The Friday episode of Anupama started off with the lady judge who told Anupama that it will be difficult for you to make the dish. Anupama told back that if we wanted to make our lives easy we would not have been here.

Anupama said I hope that I don’t let Risotto and it’s motherland down with my efforts.

Chaos and Sabotage in the Pantry

The host announced that the family members would be given 2 minutes to bring the ingredients for their team’s vishesh. He said after that time no one will be allowed to go inside the pantry to get it.

As soon as the timer started Shruti and Rahi from Prem’s team and Prerna and Kinjal from Anupama’s team went inside the pantry. They all went inside to get the ingredients.

The host who were peeking inside were giving kive commentary as to what is happening inside between members of the different teams. He said that Prerna and Rahi caught the same packet as Anupama heard and hoped that Prerna should return the packet as we are in the food competition and not fighting.

At last he said Shruti and Kinjal again collided over the same packet but Shruti didn’t let her take it and as a result Anupama’s team could not get their ingredient.

Cooking Against the Clock

After the members came with the ingredients Kinjal apologized to Anupama for not able to bring the cheese which is most important ingredient of the dish as Shruti had taken it.

Digvijay thought why did she do it as they don’t require cheese in their dish. Prem looked at his ingredients and fired Shruti for bringing baking soda instead of baking powder. He started firing at Rahi for not brining the right ingrediets.

Khyati told Prem that she will make the lachcha paratha with dahi and baking soda like earlier days.

The host announced that now they will have only 30 minutes to prepare their respective dishes and the clock started ticking upto 30 minutes now.

Prem was seen firing Rahi, Pari and everyone for not chopping ginger and grinding ingredients in mixer respectively.

Mahi was seen getting hyper while chopping as Anupama asked her to take care assuring they had enough time. The judges witnessed their teams and while looking and passing their comments.

Kinjal told Anupama that she got cashew nuts instead to make cheese. Anupama said I know how to make vegan cheese and I will make it from this.

Prem got the knife in his hand and started cutting coriander. Rahi said it’s coriander and she can chop them faster as he gave it to her. Giving final touches to their respective dishes the buzzer went off.

The Tasting and an Unexpected Connection

The host asked all of them to present their dish in front of the judges. When Anuj’s cafe was called Prem got his dish. Joy and the lady judge tasted and praised it heavily. The lady judge said when we got to know you had forgotten baking soda we got worried as to how will you manage without it but the baking soda and curd handled it very well.

Finally, Love You Zindagi Cafe was called as Anupama presented the risotto in front of them. The lady judge looked at the dish and said there is no presentation involved in it.

Joy asked her to taste it and not just judge it merely on the looks. Joy tasted the dish and asked is this first time that you made this? She said very first time. He said you got your beginners luck with this one itself as it’s a fantastic dish.

Anupama told Joy that this is Savvi’s recipe and her father is here and was a big fan of yours Joy recognized Savvi as Digvijay came in front of him. Joy told him that he still looks rugged handsome. Shruti passed a comment that now they will become partial towards Anupama as Prem discarded her thinking.

The Final Verdict Awaited

The lady judge tasted it and did not like the taste either. The senior judge had a bite and said the taste is far more superior than the looks and that is what matters as he gave his yes to the dish.
