Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, 7th June 2026: Damyanti Frames Armaan; Armaan Decides to Leave the Poddar House!

The Sunday episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started off with Aryan telling Kaveri that he has seen the condition of Disha’s house, confirming that what she is saying is correct.
In the meantime, Disha claimed that Armaan came to her house in a fit of anger to find Rishabh.

She alleged that Damyanti sent him out to prevent Rishabh from getting hurt, but in his rage, Armaan hit her with the hockey stick he carried along with him. Both Armaan and Abhira were shocked, confronting Disha and asking how she could lie about Armaan raising his hand against her.

Flashback: Damyanti’s Evil Plot Revealed

A flashback revealed the truth behind Disha’s injuries. Disha had actually fallen down after slipping on some oil. While Aryan rushed to get turmeric to help bring her back to consciousness, Damyanti seized the opportunity. She instructed Disha to lie to her in-laws and claim that Armaan hit her with a hockey stick.

Disha initially protested, stating she could not falsely accuse Armaan because it was completely wrong. However, Damyanti manipulated her, arguing that this was necessary to secure a place for Disha in the Poddar house. “I want his family to stand against Armaan the same way I was humiliated at the Poddar house,” Damyanti declared.

To create fake evidence, Damyanti smeared Disha’s blood onto the hockey stick. When Aryan returned with the turmeric, Disha lied to him, claiming Armaan was the attacker.

Kaveri Blames Abhira and Armaan’s Parenting

Back in the present, a furious Abhira lost her calm and asked Disha if she was truly the same person or if she had completely changed. Kaveri then started firing at Armaan and Abhira, mockingly stating that while they are smart lawyers otherwise, they completely lose their wisdom when it comes to their daughters.

Kaveri slammed Abhira, saying she expected her to keep Armaan calm but failed to do so. She further criticized their parenting, stating she had already warned them about not raising their daughters properly. Kaveri questioned why Maira went to school alone without a driver and argued with a stalker. Abhira defended her daughter, clarifying that the stalker’s name is Rishabh. Amidst the intense drama, Armaan began to feel dizzy and sat on the couch, while Abhira quickly administered his prescribed medicine.

Ultimatum and Legal Threats

Kaveri pointed out that they didn’t have a single piece of proof to defend themselves. Seizing the moment, Damyanti demanded justice for Disha, delivering an ultimatum: either Armaan leaves the house, or Disha won’t stay there. Abhira fiercely retaliated, stating that it is Armaan’s house and he won’t go anywhere. Aryan then threatened to leave instead, but Manju stopped him, noting how he had just returned after so many years.

Damyanti then turned to Sanjay, asking about the legal punishment for someone who harasses and attacks a daughter-in-law. Sanjay informed her that it is a non-bailable offense carrying a 3-year jail sentence. When Damyanti demanded a case be filed against Armaan, Sanjay refused, and Kaveri agreed that doing so would not be justified.

Tanya Defends Armaan

Aryan suggested that if Armaan apologized, he might reconsider. Sanjay also pressured Armaan to apologize to Disha to end the matter. Unexpectedly, Tanya spoke up in Armaan’s defense, stating she knew he could never attack Disha.

When Damyanti sharply asked Tanya if she was present during the incident, Tanya responded “I was not there, but there was a time I used to behave very badly with Armaan. Even then, he never raised his voice at me. I cannot imagine him hitting Disha.”

Despite her belief in his innocence, Tanya ultimately advised Armaan to just apologize to Disha to put an end to the chaotic matter.

Armaan Stands His Ground

Armaan firmly refused to bow down to the false accusations. He stated that he might have apologized to Disha under different circumstances, but for the sake of his self-respect, and the respect of Abhira and his daughters, he would not offer a fake apology. Instead, Armaan announced his definitive decision to leave the Poddar house.
