🔥 Salman Khan new update | Deepika Padukone trending | Bigg Boss latest news | Bollywood breaking updates

A significant legal dispute has emerged in the Indian film industry as the legal team representing Bollywood actor Salman Khan has officially objected to an upcoming movie titled Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy. The actor’s legal representatives have issued a formal notice to the filmmakers, demanding an immediate halt to the film’s production, promotions, and eventual release.

The controversy ignited shortly after the production house, Jani Firefox Media Private Limited, announced the project and unveiled its first-look promotional poster. The film, directed by Bharat S. Shrinate and produced by Amit Jani, is reportedly inspired by the highly publicized 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan.

According to the legal notice sent by the law firm representing the actor, the upcoming film constitutes a direct violation of Salman Khan’s personality, privacy, and publicity rights. The legal team has strongly argued that the filmmakers are utilizing the actor’s life events, public identity, and reputation without securing any prior consent or authorization. Observers noted that the promotional material featured a lead character with a striking physical resemblance to the superstar, even mimicking specific personal details such as his signature bracelet.

Furthermore, Salman Khan’s legal team raised serious concerns regarding the ongoing judicial process. Because appeals related to the 1998 blackbuck case are still pending before the Rajasthan High Court, the legal notice emphasizes that any sensationalized or dramatized cinematic depiction could create public prejudice. The representatives asserted that creating a movie based on an active, sub-judice matter could potentially interfere with the administration of justice and compromise the actor’s right to a fair trial.

The legal notice lays down a strict ultimatum, demanding that the producers pull down all promotional materials, social media posts, and posters within a designated timeframe. It explicitly warns that failure to comply with these demands will result in severe civil and criminal legal action, including substantial claims for damages.

In response to the legal escalation, the creators of Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy have maintained a defiant stance. Producer Amit Jani shared images of the legal notice on social media, publicly dismissing the action as an attempt to intimidate independent filmmakers. Jani claimed that the film does not serve as a direct biography of Salman Khan but is instead a creative project drawing from information that is already widely available in the public domain.

Director Bharat S. Shrinate also reacted to the development, stating that his team is prepared to handle the legal scrutiny. Shrinate mentioned that his past experience with politically sensitive cinematic projects has equipped him to handle pressure and that a formal legal response will be submitted to the actor’s team accordingly.

The filmmakers had initially scheduled the official teaser release of Kala Hiran for June 20. However, with the actor’s legal team pushing for the complete withdrawal of the project, the future of the film now remains uncertain as both sides prepare for a potential courtroom battle.
