Anupama 4th July 2026 Written Update: Prerna and Baa’s verbal face-off

Precap: Jeyu instructed Banku to prepare for the wedding board and call the wedding band and procession

The Saturday episode of Anupama started off with Jeyu who instructed Banku to prepare for the wedding board and call the wedding band and procession.

Ansh and Prerna came in and asked them to give some tasks to complete. Baa said you both cannot work as you are bride and broom. Anupama asked them to get some rest as on the day of the wedding you will both get exhausted by touching feet of the guests.

Baa said they are the ones who get to eat the food at the end. And the muhurt of the wedding also falls at night which makes it more tiring.

The couple said they still need to work as Anupama suggested them to prepare for their wedding board. Ansh was seen putting his name first as Prerna said why not my name first?

Anupama said in our hindu vedic philosophy there has been a tradition going on since eternity of Sita Ram, Radhey Shyam and Laxmi Narayan. She asked Ansh to put her name first as Ansh agreed to it and did the same.

Prerna got the message from her brother who that he isn’t coming to her wedding. She started crying and informed everyone about the same.

Baa told Prerna that it is good that both your mother and brother are not coming as they are not good people. Prerna said whatever may be my mother but she is still my mother and I wanted her to be present at my wedding.

Baa asked Prerna to promise that she won’t take her mother’s name ever in this house again. Prerna agreed to her condition and asked her to do the same with Vanraj as she became emotional. After saying that Prerna left crying as Ansh went behind him.

Anupama made Baa understand that she is a girl and on her wedding that she will naturally miss her mother no matter how good or bad she maybe.

Meanwhile, Prerna got upset on how rudely she behaved with Baa. She said the whole family trusted me and told me about Vanraj and I used his name only against Baa.

Ansh told her that even within our limits we can put our stand forward in front of our elders as here Baa was also incorrect about your mother not coming at your wedding

Ansh asked Prerna to smile as the latter was unhappy. He made her smile while enacting a funny dance.

After a while Baa came out with her luggage and asked Paritosh to drop her to the railway station. Baa had a fun banter with her and said if you are leaving then we will not stop you as you need the peace of the house as we too.

Baa said which means I am not the peace of the house? Baa said after you will leave we will do party but you don’t stop and get Paritosh along with yourself.

Baa told Bapuji that in our times we didn’t used to react or reply back to our elders but today’s daughter-in-law instantly vents our their anger.

She said what if she would have heard my bitter words and didn’t said anything. Baa said in old age the body also doesn’t listen to us and if the kids do we feel important.

Baa said Ansh went to convince Prerna but didn’t came to myself and has changed due to her presence in his life.

From behind Prerna came and embraced Baa as she apologized to her. Baa asked her to leave her. Anupama signalled Prerna to convince Baa as she embraced her again.

Prerna said to Baa if she doesn’t get convinced then we will elope and get married. Baa asked not to do so as she will break her legs. Prerna said then Ansh will took me in his arms and take pheras as Baa felt shy. To convince Baa further Prerna kissed Baa and finally achieved her love back.
